High Definition Plasma Cutting
Toledo Metal Spinning Company features two 2-axis, high-definition plasma cutters capable of cutting 0.500" thick carbon steel while maintaining high tolerances. Plate size can be up to 48" x 48".
Our plasma cutters cut very precise configurations to high tolerances, +/- 0.010" every 3’ of cut length. If the plasma cut dross is not acceptable, we can help by using our Whitney punch press. This machine can be programmed to pierce and plasma cut an infinite number of different hole configurations. TMS can handle up to a 8' sheet of material and pierce a 1" hole into 0.500" carbon steel or a maximum 5" hole into 0.125" carbon steel.
To prepare your material for high defnition plasma cutting, TMS utilizes a square shear that is can up to 10' sheets of 0.187" carbon steel, or smaller pieces of up to 0.250" thick steel.
